Fundraiser's stories Laila Kjellström - 81st birthday fundraising challenge (4th June 2021) Image Angela Jochems with Laila Kjellström, at the Edinburgh Imaging Facility RIE. Laila Kjellstrom spent her 81st birthday climbing Ben Vrackie, Pitlochry, to raise money in aid of vascular dementia research. Ben Vrackie reaches 841 m (2,759 feet) high at its summit and offers stunning views of Pitlochry and surrounding glens. Read Laila's fundraising story Laila's 81st birthday fundraising challenge Agnieszka Czechon - Scotland's Virtual Kiltwalk (24th - 25th April 2021) - EVENT CANCELLED Image Agnieszka is our Research Support Officer, who decided to support The Row Fogo Centre for Research into Ageing and the Brain by taking part in the Scotland's Virtual Kiltwalk. Her initial plan was to participate in a two-day challenge of walking a distance over 20 miles (35 km) along Edinburgh and Midlothian footpaths. Unfortunately, due to minor injury Agnieszka was not able to attend her fundraising event. We wish her a swift return to health and hope that she will choose to support The Row Fogo Centre in another fundraising event.
