Neuro-oncology research aims to understand the causes of brain cancer and work towards new treatments. Edinburgh Centre for Neuro-Oncology The brain cancer group undertakes basic science and clinical research programmes in addition to being a major contributor to UK and European clinical trials. Laboratory research focuses on proteomic, mitochondrial and stem cell studies.
