Research that helps us design the best experiments, interpret the results of others, and assess benefits to patients and healthcare providers. CAMARADESThe Edinburgh CAMARADES (Collaborative Approach to Meta-Analysis and Review of Animal Data from Experimental Studies) Group, led by Professor Malcolm Macleod, seeks to bring better evidence to inform translational medicine. It provides a framework for groups involved in the systematic review and meta-analysis of data from experimental animal studies across a wide range of disease models. CAMARADES is developing tools to allow real time summaries of the published literature and promotes secondary analyses of large datasets of published work to explore the prevalence and impact of measures to reduce the risk of bias in in vivo research.Find out more on the CAMARADES website.Watch Malcolm Macleod's Inaugural Lecture: @CAMARADES_ Twitter feedProject coordinator Professor Malcolm Macleod's Principal Investigator profile This article was published on 2024-08-27
