May 2016: Congratulations to Dr Yvonne Chun, who was awarded the Kate Johnston Prize for the best platform presentation by a non-consultant grade at the British Geriatric Society Scotland Autumn Meeting in 2015. Image Dr Chun, a Chief Scientist Office clinical academic fellow in CCBS, presented a secondary analysis of the Edinburgh Fatigue After Stroke Study data, describing the changes in anxiety severity within individual stroke survivors over 12 months, and the features of phobic and generalised anxiety types.Dr Chun joined the Stroke Research Group in Edinburgh in 2014 after being awarded a Princess Margaret Research Development Fellowship, which provided support and mentorship that led to her success in gaining a personal award of a clinical academic fellowship from the Chief Scientist Office in September 2015.
