The Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences is a University of Edinburgh research centre and is not open to the public. However, because our research affects patients and families - and indeed often involves human volunteers - we encourage you to find out more, get involved and consider donating or fundraising for us.

Please note that we cannot provide medical advice to individuals.

Donate or fundraise for us

The University of Edinburgh has a proud tradition of philanthropic support and community fundraising.

Private donations have a profound impact on scientific research. They can fund a new piece of equipment, a studentship, a collaborative visit to another lab, or a pilot study.

Importantly, they often act as leverage in funding applications that the researchers subsequently make to charities and government agencies.
