EDP Brain Health Summer School 2023 Image The course is designed principally for trainee and qualified clinicians, nurses and allied health professionals working in (or with an aim to work in) brain health and dementia services, as well as researchers, undergraduate and post graduate students. Bookings from other persons interested in increasing their general knowledge of research in this area (for example public health workers) are also welcome. An important aim of the course is to introduce participants to approaches outside their current discipline with a view to developing multi disciplinary practice and research. The course will provide an overview on promoting brain health and the prevention of neurodegenerative disorders and an exploration of the evidence base underpinning these. The teaching will include online pre recorded lectures spread over the week, with learning content released in advance for completion before attending the live, interactive sessions on each day between 1200 -1330 hrs.
