The DPUK Harmonisation Study seeks to refine and calibrate imaging across a network of PET-MR scanners in the UK Image There are seven Dementias Platform UK (DPUK) PET-MR scanners across the UK, including Edinburgh. The DPUK Harmonisation Study images the brains of volunteers across multiple scanners in order calibrate these machines and improve their quality and consistency. The PET-MR scanners combine both Positron Emision Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) into one scan providing a wealth of brain data that will improve access to valuable research data.
