About the Division

The Division of Psychiatry at the University of Edinburgh undertakes research and teaching in all aspects of psychiatry.

It is one of the three Divisions of the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences [CCBS] (Deanery of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine).

It is also part of Edinburgh Neuroscience, which forms an umbrella for all neuroscience-related activity at the University of Edinburgh.

Location

The primary location is Kennedy Tower, Royal Edinburgh Hospital, Morningside Park, Edinburgh, EH10 5HF.

Staff

All new staff positions in the Division of Psychiatry are advertised on the University of Edinburgh recruitment portal.

Students

Note that all Psychiatry undergraduate teaching is part of a degree in Medicine.

For postgraduate degrees, we offer an MScR and a PhD.
