MICAD 2026 will focussed on the next stage of AI-driven medical imaging, emphasising the transition from algorithmic innovation to clinically trustworthy and deployable systems. The conference higlighted recent progress in interdisciplinary research areas, including:

· Foundation models and large-scale learning for medical imaging analysis
· Large Language Models (LLMs) for image interpretation, clinical reporting, and decision support
· Advanced deep learning and transformer-based architectures for segmentation, detection, and diagnosis
· Multi-modal learning integrating medical images, clinical data, and reports
· Generative AI for synthetic data generation, image enhancement, and model interpretability
· Reliability, robustness, and clinical integration of computer-aided diagnosis systems

MICAD 2026 aims to reflect on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in medical imaging, from methodological advances to real-world clinical applications across radiology, pathology, and related domains.
